Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels, The Savoy, Mussoorie

We recently celebrated our son’s first birthday at Welcomhotel ITC Savoy, Mussoorie, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences for our family. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by warmth, hospitality, and a sense of old-world charm that this beautiful heritage property is known for. The hotel has a rich legacy dating back to 1902, and you can feel its history in every corner – from the stunning architecture to the antique pieces like the 1820 billiard table and the vintage piano from 1895. It truly feels like stepping into a different era, yet with all the modern comforts one could ask for. One of the highlights of our stay was, of course, the food! We enjoyed a mix of flavors at The Grand Dining Hall, indulging in classic dishes with a touch of local flair. The Royal Afghan was a treat with its amazing North-West Frontier cuisine – the smoky grilled kebabs were an absolute delight. And for those who love a good drink in a cozy setting, The Writer’s Bar is the perfect spot to unwind while soaking in the historic ambiance. Apart from the birthday celebration, this trip also turned into a beautiful family reunion. The lush green surroundings, cool mountain breeze, and the hotel's peaceful vibe made it the perfect getaway for all of us. The little details – from the personalized service to the unique Savoy postmark at the hotel’s own post office – made the experience even more special. If you're planning a trip to Mussoorie, I highly recommend staying at ITC Savoy. Whether it's for a celebration, a quiet retreat, or simply to soak in the history of this legendary place, it's an experience worth having. It was truly an exceptional experience! From the moment we arrived , the staff went above and beyond to ensure a warm and welcoming stay. The rooms were immaculately clean,spacious and well decorated with a stunning view of the valley. The breakfast spread was diverse and delicious ,with plenty of options to suit every taste. Evening with the bonfire and games and music worked like a cherry on the cake. What truly made our stay stand out was the exceptional service. The staff was friendly, attentive and accomodating , always willing to go extra mile to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Overall, our stay at Savoy,Mussoorie was flawless and exceeded our expectations in every way.

Besides its historic character and beautiful architecture, the service we received at Savoy was truly exceptional. We were celebrating a birthday and New Year's Eve, and the staff ensured our stay was truly memorable. Akshita at the front desk gave us a room with a stunning view and even arranged a birthday surprise. The dinner buffet at Savoy was excellent and the Writer's Bar was an absolute delight. Very highly recommended. We will definitely return.

Our stay felt like we went back in time. The hotel is full of history and you can tell they try hard to preserve it. The service is exceptional, they go above and beyond. The bedroom we stayed was very cute, with amazing views from the terrace. High tea was included in the price which was a nice surprise.

it was cozy and comfortable stay, breakfast was amazing, nice clean rooms with wonderful staff, interiors, structure, history of the property is the USP of this hotel, they have kept it well maintained, would love to come again
